Start your device
Move the side switch to ON and give Elato a moment to start.
The light may appear white during startup. When it turns pink, the ELATO Wi-Fi access point is ready to be found from your phone or laptop.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Use the temporary ELATO access point to give the device your home Wi-Fi or hotspot credentials.
- 1. Open Wi-Fi settings on your phone or laptop.
- 2. Select the network named ELATO.
- 3. In the setup page, enter your home Wi-Fi credentials or your phone's hotspot credentials.
- 4. Wait while Elato connects to Wi-Fi and then to the server. The AI should start speaking when it is ready.
Use the touchpad
The circular center touchpad lets you interrupt, sleep, and wake your sidekick.
- Tap while the AI is speaking
Interrupt the current response so you can speak. - Press and hold for 3 seconds
Send the device into deep sleep. - Tap while the side switch is ON
Wake the device from sleep.
Use the side switch
Move the side switch to ON when you want the device powered and available.
If the device has entered deep sleep while the side switch remains ON, tap the circular center touchpad to wake it. Move the switch to OFF when you want it fully powered down.

The status light tells you exactly what Elato is doing.
Charge your sidekick
Charge Elato with a USB Type-C to Type-C cable.
Plugging in the cable turns the device on. When it starts listening, you can simply tell it to turn off, or press and hold the circular center touchpad for 3 seconds to put it into deep sleep.
